JACKSONVILLE, FL. (June 11, 2018) – Spin 2 Win, an unprecedented high octane outdoor spinning concept, is proud to announce its first annual event to be held at Unity Park on June 22-24, 2018. A portion of proceeds from the event are committed to The DONNA Foundation, in support of their mission of breast cancer research, assistance and recovery.

Spin 2 Win will feature five local spin instructors leading classes over the course of three days in the beautiful setting of Unity Park. Multiple classes are offered each day, for one hour for all experience levels. Classes are $35 each with a 4-Class Bundle Package for $120. All participants will receive a Spin 2 Win shirt and participant bag.

Additionally, participants that are daring enough to complete a 4-class extreme challenge over the full three days will earn the official Bad Ass Medal (BAM).

The Spin 2 Win concept is new to Jacksonville and is being developed by Alfonso Thomas, who witnessed a similar event in Seattle, WA. With a passion for fitness and supporting his community, Alfonso knew Jacksonville would love the concept and that he wanted to support a local nonprofit beneficiary. With a family history of cancer, he reached out to The DONNA Foundation to partner for the event.

“I have always loved what The DONNA Foundation does for families living with breast cancer and their efforts to finish the disease. I thought they would be a great organization to work with,” said Alfonso.

The DONNA Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research. With 1 in 8 women being diagnosed with breast cancer, that need is in high demand. Founded in 2003, the organization has served more than 11,000 families in crisis and dispersed over $5 million to fuel programs that support those living with the disease and fund research.

“We are thrilled to be part of this fun and healthy event in our own backyard,” said Donna Deegan, Founder of The DONNA Foundation and three-time breast cancer survivor. “We are always excited to partner with local businesses to help us help those who need it most.”

Spin 2 Win has committed to donate a percentage of proceeds to The DONNA Foundation, and The DONNA Foundation has committed to Spin 2 Win! Donna Deegan and friends will be spinning on Saturday morning with other fellow participants.
