The collaboration is part of CURE Media Group’s Strategic Alliance Partnership Program

(CRANBURY, N.J. – September 29, 2017) – An estimated 252,000 new breast cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed this year in the United States, according to the National Cancer Institute. To further breast cancer research and raise funds to provide support for patients with breast cancer, CURE Media Group is collaborating with The DONNA Foundation as a part of the Strategic Alliance Partnership (SAP) program.

In making the announcement, Michael J. Hennessy Jr., president of Michael J. Hennessy Associates, Inc., parent company of CURE Media Group, said, “This partnership is a testament of our shared mission to help those with breast cancer. Together with The DONNA Foundation, we hope to inspire others in the fight against breast cancer and provide patients with the resources they need.”

The SAP program is designed to facilitate an open exchange of information among trusted peers, with the goal of improving patient care. As part of this joint effort, The DONNA Foundation will share valuable content through CURE® magazine, where visitors to the site will have unprecedented access to research developments, articles and interviews.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for us to reach the patients and families who need our services. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share the good news that help is just a phone call away,” said Donna Deegan, Chief Eternal Optimist (CEO) and Founder of The DONNA Foundation.

The DONNA Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial and emotional support to individuals affected by breast cancer. Through their proactive initiatives, the organization has also helped develop and maintain the Mayo Clinic Breast Cancer Translation Genomics Program and significantly contributed to clinical trials for a triple-negative breast cancer vaccine.

To continue supporting the breast cancer community, The DONNA Foundation will host its 11th annual DONNA Marathon Weekend in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, February 9-11, 2018. Collectively, the marathons have dispersed over $5 million for breast cancer research and care. To participate in the 2018 marathon, visit http://breastcancermarathon.com/.
